Building community in an age of isolation: a hands-on training intensive
Time & Location
Jul 10, 2019, 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Green Lake, Green Lake, WI 54941, USA
About the Event
From a shared services model for rural in-home childcare to funding a new waterpark, diversity and inclusion initiatives and a multi-community response to regional flooding, community-based groups in Wisconsin have taken bold action through multi-sector collaboration and nonpartisan relationships.
The Wisconsin Partners team, including the 2018 Rural Initiative Award winners Southwest Partners, will be facilitating a highly interactive training intensive to support the Green Lake-Ripon-Princeton-Berlin area in particular, though all are welcome! Topics will include asset-based community development, a broad-based relational model for community building, depolarizing habits to support multi-partisan collaboration, and strategies for effective one-on-ones.
To accommodate busy schedules, the agenda is split into two sections. We strongly encourage you to participate in both parts, but welcome you to participate in just one if needed!
