2021: We paired associations up randomly to host conversations throughout the year. Topics included:

• Political Peacebuilding

• COVID Vaccine Equity

• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Within Organizations

• Community Engagement: Root Causes and Coalition-Building

• Senior Mental Health

• Improv as a Tool for Connection

• COVID: Where are we today?

Stronger Together Fox Valley launched the Equity Network, holding elected officials accountable to existing non-discrimination laws.

​

We hosted huddles throughout the year for policy and governmental affairs staff and for communications and outreach staff.

​

2020: Kickapoo Conversations and the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association received the 2020 Wisconsin Top Rural Development Initiative award from Wisconsin Rural Partners.

​

We supported Kickapoo Conversations in convening a rural housing summit, facilitated agitation practice and issue identification with Stronger Together Fox Valley, provided virtual trainings for community members in the Green Lake-Ripon area, and offered training to WECA's grassroots advocacy network.

We've met internally to discuss COVID and racism in the state, worked on collaborative efforts, participated in strategic meetings around civic health initiatives, and promoted events held by each of the three regional groups. 

​

The core of our work is ongoing: we are about building day-to-day relationships, getting the work done, and staying true to our values and mission.

2019: We held a Statewide Training & Learning Exchange in Westby, co-hosted with Kickapoo Conversations, and gathered with local leaders in Green Lake for a Training Intensive on the relational model and depolarizing habits. 

 

We facilitated interactive workshops on our broad-based relational model at the Inclusivity Summit, the WIPTA Conference, the Wisconsin Early Childhood Association staff meeting, and the Wisconsin Council of Churches Annual Meeting. We helped facilitate a small group discussion at "Where Mission Meets Advocacy," and facilitated power-mapping for the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association.

2018: We held two Statewide Training & Learning Exchange gatherings, co-hosted with Southwest Partners and Stronger Together Fox Valley. Our Core Team met three times in person, twice over conference call, and countless times one-on-one and in smaller committee meetings.

 

We spoke at the Healthiest State Summit and the Aging & Disability Conference about social isolation and polarization. Kickapoo Conversations, Stronger Together Fox Valley, and Southwest Partners organized their own planning meetings, events, and relational one-on-ones.
